We pair it with propolis from the same hive — the natural compound bees use to protect and repair. Together, they nourish skin without weighing it down.

Harvested from Bulgaria's vast sunflower plains — naturally lighter than manuka or wildflower honey, rich in antioxidants, and deeply hydrating without the heaviness. Softens, nourishes and feeds the skin barrier.

Bulgarian Propolis
From the same Bulgarian hives. Propolis is the compound bees use to protect and seal the hive — in skincare it calms inflammation, supports skin barrier repair, and provides natural antimicrobial protection. The perfect partner to honey.
The story behind the name
A name born between two worlds.
Gawula draws its name from a place where cultures meet and paths cross — a reflection of the journey that brought this brand to life. Like the sunflower fields of Bulgaria that stretch endlessly toward the horizon, the name carries a sense of space, warmth, and something unhurried.
We chose Bulgaria for its honey not as a trend, but because the science supports it. The country's unique soil and climate produce a sunflower honey that is measurably lighter and richer in beneficial compounds than most alternatives. The same fields. The same bees. The same hive. Every jar.
